SHIPPING INFORMATION

These are tropical plants, and are readily tolerant of heat, but not of cold. We caution against shipping during cold months in the midwest or eastern U.S., while shipping is normally safe during warm/hot months. We do not ship ourselves, but will deliver the bonsai (or other merchandise) to a shipping service that has proved to be very reasonable and reliable. The plants must be carefully packed to avoid losing soil or coming loose in the container, then double boxed with styrofoam peanuts to prevent damage. UPS ground may be used in contiguous states, such as California, New Mexico, etc. so that the tree will arrive within three business days. For greater distances, we specify 2nd day air UPS or FedEx, since the plant could dry out by delivery time. If you'll provide your zip code, we can call our shipping service and get an estimate to include packing, based on weight and size of box. Merchandise other than plants can usually be shipped via UPS ground. For our Green Valley, Arizona customers, the shipping service makes a delivery run on Tuesdays and Thursdays to your area, and an open box is adequate.
