ALL OF OUR TROPICAL BONSAI (with the exception of bougainvillea and juniper) are acclimated to high-light growing conditions (800-1200 lumens) for indoor culture with bright windows. These trees will thrive for you if you can place them outdoors in winter sun/summer shade for a day or two each week (more in summer). This will help to keep leaves small, internodal growth short, and discourage insects such as scale and mealybug which seem to thrive under poor light conditions. These trees will not get enough light if you have tinted windows or deep setbacks/overhangs.
